This Giant Fossil Crocodile, Gavialsuchus americanus, was discovered in 1990 in a phosphate mine in Polk County, Florida, this specimen is considered the largest, most complete of its genus ever found. Based on this specimen's 52" skull length, its total body length is estimated to have been around 32 feet.
