A Giraffe is the tallest mammal on Earth. Males can stand 15 to 17 feet. In proportion to their body size, a giraffe has the largest heart of any animal in the world. This is because they have to pump blood all the way up their neck to their brain.

Althought their is a dramatic difference in the length of a human's neck versus a giraffe's, they both remarkably contain the same number of vertabrae - Seven. A giraffe's vertebrae are just much larger.
